Bank Solutions

How we make money

The short version: two providers pay us a fixed referral reward, labelled where it applies. Here is exactly what that means, what may change, and what never will.

Today

Bank Solutions is funded by its publisher, Domain Farm Ltd. As of the date above, two providers pay us: Tide and Wise, through their referral programmes, which pay a fixed reward when someone opens an account through our link and meets the provider's conditions (where the new member receives a reward too, we say so at the link). Wherever one of those links appears it is labelled "Referral link", carries a rel="sponsored" attribute, and sits next to a plain link to the provider's published tariff so you can go there without using ours.

The reward does not depend on which plan you choose, so we have no reason to steer you between a provider's plans - and Tide and Wise sit in the comparison exactly where their published fees put them, in the same sort order as every other row. No other provider pays us, no advertising is sold, and every other provider link goes to that provider's own published tariff or pricing page. When this list changes, this paragraph changes the same day.

What may change

We may, in time, earn money in three ways. Each one will be disclosed on the page where it applies, on the day it starts.

What never changes

Who decides

The editor, Sam Allcock, is responsible for everything published and for keeping this page accurate. Commercial conversations are kept separate from editorial decisions, and where that separation is ever in doubt, the editorial decision wins.

Why we publish this

Comparison sites are, mostly, paid by the companies they compare. That is not wrong in itself, but you should be able to see it. This page, the disclosure block on any page that carries a commercial link, and the visible sort order are how we make sure you can.
